Felix Cardoso
Felix Cardoso was born in the heart of the Matlazinca culture in Calixtlahuaca, Toluca, México. He has published one book of poetic prose: Disfrutando mis pecados (2020) and three poetry books that make up a love-sensual-erotic trilogy: Sabor a piel (2012), Trazos en la piel (2010), and Navegar en la piel (2009). In 2005 he published two plaquettes: La hojarasca vuelve a nacer and Sin el aroma de tu rezo.
His work also appears in thirty anthologies of both narrative and poetry, among which stand out: Dictionary of artists, writers, poets and independent cultural promoters LOS NUEVOS VEINTES (2020); United Voices in Real del Potosí (2019); LACUHE Poetry Collection, New York (2018); From Neza York to New York, bilingual anthology, (2015); Caracoles extraviados (2012), and Donde la piel canta (2011).
He has also published in the magazines: Siempre! No.3303 (2016); Castálida, edited by the IMC (2013); and Molino de letras, Literature and Humanities Magazine, No.58.
Felix has participated in international meetings of writers such as: 2nd International Meeting of Poets and Writers at SLP and Real de Catorce, 2019; IX International Writers Meeting in Tarija, Bolivia, 2016; 100 Thousand Poets for Change, Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, 2015; and the VIII International Recital of Poetry From the South, in Pasto Nariño, Colombia, 2012.
In a distinction endorsed by the UNESCO, he was appointed Universal Ambassador of Culture by the Plurinominal State of Bolivia within the framework of the VIII International Writers Meeting in Tarija, Bolivia, in 2015.
