Carlos Santibáñez Andonegui
Poet, narrator and teacher Carlos Santibáñez Andonegui was born in Mexico City on April 1, 1954. He died in his hometown on February 12, 2018. He studied Literature and also Law at UNAM. He was a co-founder of the Liberta Sumaria publishing house and the Nautilium group. He was a fellow of INBA / FONAPAS in 1980; and of FONCA in 1993. He published among others, the following books of poems: Diecinueve bajo cero (Liberta Sumaria, Mexico, 1979); Para decir buen provecho (Liberta Sumaria, Mexico, 1980); Fiestemas (Punto de partida, Mexico, 1986); Glorias del Eje Central (Nautilium, Mexico, 1993); Ofrezca un libro de piel (Ediciones Coyoacán, Col. Reino imaginario, México, 2005) and Poemas de por vida (Ediciones Fósforo, México, 2018). He also collaborated with many anthologies, magazines and newspapers in México and abroad.
